Eurofigma is a distribution centre specialised in products that need to be cooled. Jeroen Kuypers, the Logistics manager walked me trough the facility in Roermond.

We walked trough big spaces filled with racks with boxes.

The boxes, the racks and the pallets all have unique codes that are connected with each other in the computersystem.

The employees now place the boxes in the right places via a sheeds in with the boxes are assigned to the racks.

All pallets are moved by forklifts, the chauffeur honks at every corner to warn possible encounters. some use a blue light that shines to the floor as a warning sign.

Aside from the honks and the airco, the noise is not very pressend, normal conversations are possible.
