A windows emulator is an virtual operating system for your computer, that enables the ability to run 32 bit applications and such. Since the [[RCX 2.0]] has some pretty outdated hardware and runs on 32 bit, in order for us to program the swarm it is needed to install this virtual operating system. This virtual operating system consists of 2 programs, the Windows XP Mode application and the Windows Virtual PC.
