Research Questions

  • Scanning
    • How does the drone drop package the exact same way each time?
    • Where to place scanning mechanism?
    • How much time is required for scanning
    • What type of scanners are there?
      • How they scan
      • How fast they scan
      • Cost?
  • Opening Mechanism
    • How will drone open the door?
    • How will the door stay open?
    • How will the door keep rain out/from settling on top?
    • How does the door mechanism work?
      • 1 vs 2 doors, pop up or slide aside,
      • Will it hit the drone?
    • What kind of mechanical sliding doors are there
    • Can it hold the weight of a drone?
    • Where does the power come from to run the system?
  • Fixing/Maintenance
    • How robust is the system?
    • How does it send an error signal?
    • How can a person fix the mechanisms?
